For puppies 2-4 months old

We know that raising a puppy can be overwhelming, let us do the heavy lifting! Our comprehensive Puppy Academy is designed to build a solid foundation for your pup so you can enjoy a lifetime of adventures together. Your puppy will learn, socialize, relax and play under the guidance of professional trainers.

Our unique program keeps your puppy’s best interests at heart. You have the option to drop your puppy off up to 3 days per week. Rest days are built in and allow you to practice all of your pup’s new skills at home and your puppy to recharge for their next day of school. Enjoy your puppy in the evenings and reap the benefits of their training each day.

Puppy Academy Details:

Four hour days of:

• Positive Reinforcement based training:

  • Foundation Cues (sit, down, stay, come, leave it, leash walking, etc.)

  • Common puppy woes troubleshooting (puppy biting, potty training, chewing, etc.)

• Socialization

  • Play opportunities with other puppies

  • Meeting new people

  • Exposure to novel objects, sounds, places, and more.

• Nap and rest time

  • Taking breaks from play

  • Independence training

  • Confinement training

FAQs

• Does my puppy need all of their vaccines?

  Your puppy only needs their FIRST round of vaccinations. Here are the steps we take to ensure a safe, early socialization experience:

  • We disinfect our floors, props, and toys with a Vet-Grade Parvocide (CleanBreak).

  • We all disinfect the bottom of our shoes before entering the training space.

  • Puppies MUST have a clean bill of health in order to attend each day (no vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, coughing, etc.).

  • You must show proof of your puppy's FIRST round of vaccines administered by a veterinarian.

• What will my puppy learn?

  Your puppy will be introduced to essential cues including: sit, down, stay, come, settle/place, leave it, loose leash walking, polite greetings and more.

  More importantly, our Puppy Academy will cover all of the puppy raising priorities including socialization, independence training, crate training, potty training, appropriate play skills, confidence building, comfort with handling for the groomer and vet, and, again, so much more.

• How will I know how to continue my puppy's training?

  Every Academy Day comes with a wrap up email which will contain videos of your puppy learning and socializing as well as step by step instructions for each exercise covered.

  We also provide a special 25% discount on private coaching to our Puppy Academy students. We recommend adequate follow-up private training to ensure you're up-to-speed with all of your puppy's new skills.

• What is the Puppy Academy schedule?

  Clickstart's Puppy Academy takes place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9am to 1pm.

  You are responsible for dropping your puppy off and picking them up on time at Clickstart's Campus: 22485 El Toro Rd. Lake Forest.

• How many puppies will be enrolled at a time?

  Unlike daycares and board and trains, this is a HIGHLY personal service. Only four puppies will be enrolled at one time and at least two trainers will be onsite at all times. This 2:1 ratio provides for a safer and more high quality experience, while also allowing your puppy plenty of socialization opportunity.
